Built in 1871 as a private school, this historic cottage has been restored to provide light spacious bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms and individual heating and cooling. Located in a secluded street between the Campaspe and Murray rivers, the cottage is only 500 metres from Echuca’s historic Port, cafes, shops, hotels and restaurants. Only minutes away you can enjoy scenic bush walks to the junction of the rivers.
A delicious breakfast is served in our bright airy dining room or sunlit courtyard.
All bedrooms have ensuites, each with bath and shower.
Off-street parking is provided.
You will be warmly welcomed at Charlotte’s Cottage.
Owners Rhonda, Neil and Jill will point you in the right direction for activities and tourist attractions... or just relax in our beautiful B&B.
Three bedrooms are available: Emily’s Room, Elizabeth’s Room and Charlotte’s Room. All rooms have:
Individually controlled heating and cooling
Ensuite bathrooms with bath and shower
Room 1 - Emily’s Room
This bedroom has a Queen sized bed and ensuite complete with claw-foot bath. Relax and enjoy Echuca’s pleasant climate in the adjoining courtyard.
Room 2 - Elizabeth’s Room
This comfortable bedroom is light and airy, with Antique cast iron and brass bed and its own ensuite with a claw-foot bath.
Room 3 - Charlotte’s Room
This spacious bedroom, has a queen sized bed and a luxurious spa in its ensuite bathroom. Relax and enjoy.
Living areas
All guests are welcome to make themselves at home in our restful lounge and dining rooms or to relax in our comfortable outdoor areas.
Sink into leather couches in the lounge room and rest after a day’s sightseeing. This room has a TV and DVD player. The lounge room opens onto a courtyard, where you can sit outside and enjoy a drink on a balmy Echuca evening.
Our grand dining room has a refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities for your convenience. Step outside through double glass doors, where you can dine in the courtyard.
