Built in 1853 Meredith House has been providing bed and breakfast accommodation for over 100 years. Situated in the heart of historic Swansea, on the east coast of Tasmania, the house is centrally located for easy access to shops and restaurants, and makes the perfect base from which to explore all the Freycinet region has to offer , including Wineglass Bay, Bicheno Penguin Tour and Maria Island.
Surrounded by an acre of established garden, the house has 11 en suite rooms. Seven of these are in the main house; upstairs are four queen bedrooms, a twin room and a family room. On the ground floor is a two-room spa suite, which comprises a sitting room, queen bedroom and en suite bathroom with 2-person spa bath.
Adjoining the house are four Mews style studio apartments, each has a queen sized bed and a single bed, kitchenette and dining area and a veranda on to the garden. Three of the studios have en-suite bathrooms with spa's. The fourth has an en suite with walk-in shower. Off road parking is available to all guests.
